The Law of Attraction: Removing Blocks & Obstacles

August 3rd, 2007

As a quick recap, the Law of Attraction states that you will “attract” into your life the things, people and circumstance that you are most in harmony with.

The misunderstanding that many people have when beginning to use the LOA is trying to THINK of what they want and expecting it to come into your life. But that isn’t how it works.

Thinking is only One part of who we Are. We are also made up of Emotions. Thinking covers the Mind. But most people forget about the Emotions.

More specifically, it’s the limiting Beliefs, Fears and Aversions that keep us OUT of Harmony with what we want (so we don’t get what we want) more than anything else.

Let’s say that you decide that you want a new car. You put up pictures of the Red BMW M6 Convertible that you’ve seen in magazines. Now you sit back and wait for the LOA to do it’s thing.

But what happens for many people is the little voice inside says, “Who are you kidding? You can’t even afford a new Hyundai! What makes you think you can have a new BMW, let alone that model?

Those are the blocks and obstacles that get in the way and keep your desires from ever manifesting. And it’s those thoughts that we’re really in harmony with. And until we bring ourselves into harmony with the BMW, it will always be just another unfulfilled desire.

Now the good news!

You can bring yourself into harmony with virtually anything you want, and willing to work for. But the hard work is often from the inside out. It entails facing those voices, the fears and the limiting beliefs and removing them from your Being, one by one.

This is what I do with my clients every day. Sure we work on Action Items, but mostly we work on getting stuff out of the way. And you can too.

Just by becoming conscious of the thoughts and feelings that come up when you think about your desires is enough to start facing the fears and releasing them. It’s not easy, but it is worth it.

In my teleconferences and classes I’ll often do experiential exercises to help people become aware of their own blocks and self-imposed limitations. People are often surprised at the own thoughts, feelings and limiting beliefs that come up during these simple exercises.

To learn how to do this for yourself, I invite you to either contact me or join me in my on-going teleconferences. For full details see the Teleconference webpage.

Wishing you all the Best that you can be,

Patrick

More Vision Statements

August 3rd, 2007

In a previous newsletter I raved about the multi-media Vision Statement that I had created for myself and encouraged others to do as well.  But one of the complaints that I received was that many people couldn’t understand How to build them.

If you haven’t yet built yours because of “technical difficulties“, I’m about to share something I found to really help you to easily make your own.

What are Vision Statements?
As a quick recap in case you missed that issue,
Vision Statements are created using pictures that you download from the Internet.

The best part is that you can then combine these pictures with your favorite music and
the result is your own Personalized Motivational Multi-Media Vision Statement.

It’s like having a personalized commercial all about you, just for you!

It’s been awesome hearing about some of you that have already created your own Vision Statements.

Probably the Best thing that I learned from building my own Statement is what I Don’t want.  Yep, odd but true.  The more that I put in pictures and revised my Statement, the more I realized what I didn’t want.  This in turn helps me to focus more on what I DO want.  Way cool, huh?

I’m actually still revising my own Statement, but with each revision it becomes more and more compelling.  I still watch it because it motivates me and inspires me each time I watch it.

Mind Movies
Now here’s the good part.  If you’ve had challenges with the “How To” I found something that will completely change that.

Ryan and Nathalie Higgins have put together a series of Awesome online Video Tutorials that will walk you step by step from how to think about what you want, download all the software that you need (except for Microsoft PowerPoint) and show you where to find pictures to use in your presentations.

As many of you know, I’m passionate about these Vision Statements so I wanted to first check out any program that I could recommend to my subscribers and clients.  I’m excited to say that Ryan and Nathalie have done an awesome job and I can recommend their program highly.

They even show you how to use each software VERY step by step.

For anyone that still needs help building your own Vision Statement, or if you just want to see some examples of Vision Statements and what they are, I invite you to visit, Mind-Movies.com

And let me know when you’ve created Your Vision Statement!  I look forward to hearing about the results that you get in your life.

Creating Your Vision

March 21st, 2007

If we’re ever going to manifest what we want in life, first we’ll have to decide on what it is that we want. Sounds simple, huh?

“Dreamboards” are a great way to get a visual idea of what we want.

The concept of making DreamBoards has been around for a long time. The basic idea is to cut out several pictures of things or experiences that you want from magazines and paste them onto a big cardboard sheet.

After hanging your Dreamboard on a wall your subconscious mind will start to program you to bring those things and experiences into your life.

The most awesome part about creating these boards is that it’s Fun to do!

While you’re having fun creating your board, you’re also creating a VISION for what you want your life to be.

(Note, in the INSPIRATIONS section of this newsletter, I’ll be introducing you to Malcolm Cohan and his Vision Statement programs.)

So how about making some time this week to download some pictures, or cut up some old magazines to start building your own Dreamboard or Vision Statement?

I know that you’ll have a great time doing it, and if you’re like me, you’ll probably find out some interesting things about what you thought you wanted along the way.

So whether you’re building a Dreamboard, or a Vision Statement, I look forward to hearing about your amazing results, and I invite you to send me a copy of your Vision Statement!

Emotional issues with credit card debt

February 25th, 2007

When it comes to paying off credit card debt, the real issue may be more than just money. Many people associate their self-worth with the debt.

The value of any person’s life is much more than the debt that they’ve accumulated. But too many people see themselves as “failures” simply because they’ve let debts pile up to the point of being overwhelming.

The following podcast is from a live teleconference. During this call we get to see the process of finding the underlying emotional issues when looking at a problem. By releasing the Core Issue of the problem, the blocks are released and achieving any goal becomes a new possibility.

Address the Core Issue
During this call I’m working with Kathleen. We start with the emotions associated with credit card debt but quickly uncover the underlying Core Issues. As we identify these emotions we use the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) to release the grip that has been holding her back.

Emotional Freedom Technique
The Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is a series of tapping points that’s been Invaluable at helping thousands of people get past emotional issues. I’ve personally found extremely useful when working with people over the phone. If you haven’t had a chance to use EFT yet, you can find a free download of the complete EFT Manual by visiting the Gary Craig (founder of EFT) website at, www.EmoFree.com.

As you listen to the recording you have the option of either just listening in on the call, or if you would like to try this for yourself, you can write out the answers that come to you. Then as we begin tapping, you can tap along on what comes up for you.

Emotional Impact
Please note that Parts 2 and 3 of the audio recordings become very emotionally charged as Kathleen begins to find and release the life-long traumas that have held her back. During this call I am working with her to facilitate the emotional release in a direct but gentle manner. If you begin suffering any adverse reaction while listening to this recording, please turn it off and seek the assistance of a professional trained in EFT or emotional counseling.

Overcoming Fear of Financial Abundance

February 17th, 2007

Fear in any shape is trouble. But having fears linked with Financial Abundance is a sure way to stop or slow down wealth from coming into our lives.

The following podcast is from a live teleconference. During this call we get to see how fear can get in the way of something that we really may want, and how by releasing the fear we can open a possibility for what we want to start to come into our lives.

Emotional Freedom Technique
The Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is a series of tapping points that’s been Invaluable at helping thousands of people get past emotional issues. I’ve personally found extremely useful when working with people over the phone. If you haven’t had a chance to use EFT yet, I invite you to visit the Gary Craig (founder of EFT) website at, www.EmoFree.com.

During this call we use EFT to reduce “the Fear of not being able to pay the bills.” The intended result is to eliminate the emotional block (fear) in order to have more of what we Do want.

As you listen you have the option of either listening in on the call, or if you would like to try this for yourself, you can write out the answers that come to you. Then as we begin tapping, you can tap along on what comes up for you.
